Another mirrorverse keyblade. Explanation is spoilery so I'll hold off until further down page.

Change of pace on the colouring and outlining here: this was my first pic where the outlines were all done in the path tool, I think. Not as bad as I thought... though I don't see myself using it every day.

Well. Path tool except for the chains. I basically copied and pasted a single link to do the chains... something like a hundred times. If I ever think that 'yay something wrapped in chains' is a good idea again, someone kick me.

Did the colouring pretty much all with gradients and the odd bit of selection/feathering.

Right. The idea behind this keyblade was that it's 'a keyblade of locked hearts' - specifically, it has a connection to Master Xehanort's locked away heart. As such, chains, locks... and the heart itself darkened, the crossing chains on the outside reflecting the Heartless emblem (even if there are a few more on there too). The blade itself is lighter metal to reflect the light on the outside that's keeping the darkness in said heart contained.
