May I ask you about The Knowledge? I saw you mention it on your journal, and showing the people who are involved. Is there a location where a person can check it out?

The knowledge :iconthe knowledge1: is a database of people here who are willing to help other people out if they have any problems with their specific art.We broke it down into different categories and are adding more all the time. We will eventually have competitions, features, news letters and hopefully, a chat room.
I was only thinking of this a week ago. Now it is up and running and we are getting 800 pageviews a day. I'm happy, but worn out.

um........ the link you sent me in this note - the icon didn't work but I'm not sure why - is there supposed to be a 1 in it?

also, maybe I'm just blind or stupid (depends on who you ask) but I don't see a link in your journal either. I assumed it would be where you had "THE KNOWLEDGE is now up and running" but there is no link there either.

so, which am I? Blind or Stupid?

ok, so I found it - it looks neat!

I DO have something I can help with. Under Artisan Crafts, I could help people with needle work. I have been designing and selling cross stitch patterns for about 10 years, and would be happy to help anyone who has questions.

I guess I need to join the club or something and put a link on my groups page.

This, if my memory serves me well, is just a piece of white paper and natural light. I overexposed a bit to get it a bit more washed out, then just altered the levels in PS. Eay. I don't use any fancy equipment or editing. All my shots are done using old shirt and paper for backgrounds and natural light or houshold lights. The only thing is, I always use a tripod so that I can have long exposures.
