Sorry to ask a silly question, (I'm considering on buying a Canon 400D), I see from your deviation description you used a Sigma macro lens - can you use other branded lenses with the 400d?

Yes, you can use..Sigma, Tamron, Peleng ( 8 mm fisheye , you need an adaptator and you buy the lens + adaptator on Ebay for 270 € approximately ) and I think You can use Tokina ( but i'm not surte for this..)
