Well, continuing with the RP with chill13 AlexVanArsdale and Rebel-Rider , Rover has found himself back in time and attempting to save Phox's universe from total destruction and chaos! Malderane, according to the history books, destroys all of civilization and brings about a Dark Age where he's the only immortal being in control. Well, Rover didn't fancy the idea about that coming to true. It turns out there were a bunch of freaks who worship the Dark One and were plotting to take over Malderane's mind. However, there's still great uncertainty regarding his innocence in the matter. Malderane is one of the most complicated characters you could try and solve....and Rover is giving it his best shot!
In this is pic, Rover and Malderane caught the guy behind the mind control scheme. He had trapped them in a black, void world and wasn't letting them leave unless they murdered him. Ole Rover didn't fall for that trick and managed to talk him into letting them out and took him as a prisoner.
Rover belongs to chill, Malderane belongs to me.

Leave it to Rover to use his gift of gab to solve a problem. I like the rippling water in the darkness and the lighting. Malderane looks like such a mysterious and intimidating character. This RP must be quite an exciting adventure.

That world is really freaky and it was very good they didn't spend much time there, Rover might have figured out a major spoiler if he did. 0.0 Malderane is a very complex fellow indeed and uses his mysterious nature to keep himself a step ahead of his enemies. This RP has been one of epic proportions!

It's going to be epic, I hope. I've got everything planned out, just gotta illustrate it. And yes, RPing can really iron out kinks and character flaws. Also, it can lay out your world in detail and help fine tune it.

OH MY GOODNESS! This looks so absolutely amazing! Malderane looks so amazing! I love his design! He looks all white and regal,but something about that face concealing mask makes you wonder what he's hiding. Cool to see this mysterious guy here as well. I'm loving that cape design.
And of course ROVER! You captured him perfectly. and his frustration and anger about the entire situation. He's being kept from his friends who were in danger and this is apparently the cause of all that disaster! While he didn't want to kill him he didn't have much sympathy for the guy either.

Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked it! Yeah, Malderane is a interesting cookie. When someone has a concealed face it means either two things. They are either hiding something they are ashamed of themselves or are hiding something of ill intent. His cape kinda flows around him almost like a mist, it can also wrap up things that attempt to get a jump on him.
I love drawing Rover so much! He convenes so much expressions, it's great. And the question is, what truly would happen if Rover went to kill him? Was it a trick or would he actually of died? I'm going to tell you since your past that part, it was a very touchy situation.

He REALLY is! Again, his design is fascinating. Very regal and almost heroic,,,and yet menacing at the same time. You look at him and you really don't know what to think. I LIKE that. It fits what we have read about him so far.
Rover is very expressive. He wears his emotions on his sleeve and his expression is very rarely neutral. He's always got something going on inside his head...even if it's completely idiotic.
I was actually SO curious as to what really would have happened there. Honestly, Rover just might have done it. It was more 'me' that didn't want to make him do it, than it would have been completely out of character under those specific circumstances.

Yeah, that makes some really good story writing right there. I love your characters and how they interact with one another, it's fantastic!
It would of been pretty bad, Rover would of gotten great satisfaction out of it. Then, he probably would of gotten full of temptations to get revenge and ends justify the means. He was rigged so to speak in a very bad way. If Rover didn't cave to the voices in his head right then and there, they would of never left him unless he managed to get the virus out of his head.

The scary part is Rover's one of the few characters who wouldn't have killed the guy. (Qwalm might have, and I'd guess Atlas would have killed him too.)

Well, everything he has actually done.....except for blowing up that planet at the beginning...has been pretty nice. I mean he got upset about the accusations, but who wouldn't? It is possible for a good guy to have an event in their life that turns them bad, and *in theory* if that event never happened they would never turn bad. I mean, he seems sincere even in these quiet moments with Rover, the guy who messed up everything for him. I tend to think he is good...now. However there is always the possibility of a REALLY GOOD hustle.
