Here's Rappertunie. He's a little, green guy that was one of the additions to the Max Rebo Band in Jabba's Palace in the " Return of the Jedi Special Edition " in 1997. Even though I'm really not fond of the replacement Rebo Band Song he helped perform, I dig him. Fun fact: He spits a paralyzing poison at those who threaten him.Related content

I am with you 100% about the band additions. However...like you, I am all for expansion with fun characters. I say Disney should give us an animated series based on the trials and tribulations of Sy, Max & Droopy.
As the seasons progress, they could eventually encounter Rappertunie. Along with the dancers and new musicians from the Special Editions.
Tie in to Clone Wars via Sy's relationship with that Hutt and you have a perfect reason to make the show. You and I should write it and send it to Disney.

I'd be the only choice to write the Max Rebo Band cartoon. No one else, except prolly you, could pull it off. Not that I'm being all Horn-tooter McGee or any thing. It's just a fact.
I'm not a 1000% nuts on Sy's inclusion in the Clone Wars but I live with it. I sorta feel she needs to be more Tina Turner & less Betty Boop. I do want a Ziro action figure still.

Dude. That's a TOTAL fact. As I've always maintainted, Disney/Henson/Marvel and everybody else is missing out by not hiring you as an art director.
I am with you on her characterization in th ecartoon. While I'm at it, I need to admit I HATED Ziro's characterization. But I still respect the continuity. Just as we were forced to with Jar-Jar and Watto.

I'm not sure but it seems that Ziro might be based off of whoever Boss Hogg was based off of... or on. Based on I guess is the correct way to say that.

No, no, no, you get me wrong. I am totally accepting of the Gungans and Watto, but I am acutely aware of the criticisms. Also, like any good nerd, I have my list of complaints about any character we could discuss. I always loved Ewoks (like you), but I understand the hate.
