Description
This was drawn with the parallel universe theme in mind, from the TMNT movie, " Turtles Forever ". ( They do a story about how different incarnations of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles meet each other and have a wacky adventure saving... everything. More info can be found here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turtles_… ).So I did 3 of my favorite versions of Master Splinter. There's the original cartoon Splinter, the original comic book Splinter ( colorized ) and the Splinter from the 2007 CGI movie, " TMNT ". Dunno how this all came about but the Splinters seem to be making the best of things, yakking it up and feeding the pigeons... & some seemingly confused Mousers.
Then there's Foof.
For the record, I do like the Nickelodeon Splinter as well. I may do him later.

I love this. I wish they had a moment in Turtles Forever where the two Splinters met. Especially since one Splinter was in fact Hamato Yoshi...

Well if you ever feel like it braking it into simple steps always helps I'd be most interested in how to lay down color smoothly I have the worst trouble with that...I heard once it's a matter of coloring very slowly vs rushing with a lot of quick big strokes...

Well... it does help to have some sort of reference to work from. I suppose I do have a method for doing these but... I tend to jump around a lot. With my markers, there are times I wind up really saturating the page... I dunno if that's considered to be a no-no or not. I don't think it's bad cuz there's really no one way to do things.

I worry about blending after one part dries before the other I guess. I suppose putting all the color down in one pass might be best

I put a lot of " band aides " on my stuff sometimes. Either with paint or colored pencils. I've even redrawn parts on another piece of paper & glued them over top.
