Description
This was drawn with the parallel universe theme in mind, from the TMNT movie, " Turtles Forever ". ( They do a story about how different incarnations of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles meet each other and have a wacky adventure saving... everything. More info can be found here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turtles_… ).So I did 3 of my favorite versions of Master Splinter. There's the original cartoon Splinter, the original comic book Splinter ( colorized ) and the Splinter from the 2007 CGI movie, " TMNT ". Dunno how this all came about but the Splinters seem to be making the best of things, yakking it up and feeding the pigeons... & some seemingly confused Mousers.
Then there's Foof.
For the record, I do like the Nickelodeon Splinter as well. I may do him later.

...hilariously great stuff here...though I'm surprised that the Mousers are going for the popcorn and not the pigeons!....X3

I think the cartoon is my favorite version but I really like the original movie version too. He had a pretty good voice and the puppet work still looks amazingly good. It's to the point whenever I draw Splinter I have to give him a sliced ear.
For me, the universal law in all of the versions of TMNT is "whenever Splinter joins in the fight it is the crowning moment of awesome!"

Oh yeah, I forgot about his ear... I wonder if any of the 3 I drew here should've had sliced ears.
Splinter usually brings about the climax.

isn't the one from TMNT supposed to be in the same continuity as the origin film? That's what I've heard but I still haven't watched it all the way through.

I've heard that it does and doesn't. I think sort of loosely based on the original movies.

Great Splinters, fave the 2 classic ones. Had no idea Mousers preferred popcorn to rat, and is Foof out looking for a new friend?

Mousers love popcorn... when their re-programed. Oh yeah! It's funny, it wasn't until after I had posted this that I noticed that Foof was looking at that one Splinter's tail. I didn't even realize what I was drawing!

Foof looks love-struck by that tail, so no way you could control 'im by how you're drawing.

I would've thrown in Splinter from the 4Kids (2003) series, but other than that, awesome job!!!

Thanks. I know of that version but I rarely watched that series so, he didn't come to mind. I'm sure he's cool though.

I like the Splinter from the first animated series, the one from TMNT and the one from the most recent film. Those are my favorites.

This is fabulous! I love the concept, and I think my favorite part about this is them feeding the Mousers along with the pigeons - brilliant! You are really terrific at doing full, detailed, correct-looking backgrounds. I envy that ability!

Mousers! I'd completely forgotten about those critters. I hope they don't start snacking on pigeons. Or Foof.
My favorite Splinter is the one from the original comic. (My favorite everything in TMNT is from the original comic.) The original cartoon Splinter almost looks like he ought to be tooting a Magic Pipe.

Nah, those Mousers are... special for some reason.
He might have a magic pipe. Foof & Dudley have tooted said magic pipe but I don't think anyone ever noticed. Here's photographic proof of their pipe tooting though.
