Description
Have I ever mentioned that I like Fraggle Rock?Anyway, with all the current fraggle hoopla, and me having no way to express my fraggle feelings, I opted to draw the Fraggle Five. We've got Gobo, Mokey, Red, Wembley and Boober.
Wee.

Yeah, a party that swallows up Fraggles if cracks in the rock grow too large.

What I want is for them to release the background music or score I guess, from Fraggles. There's a lot of nice fluting going on.

If the release of the Fraggle Rock DVDs leads to childrens books again for the show, they really need you to illustrate for them. You capture their essence so well.

I worked at Denny's a very (VERY) long time ago during the crimped hair phase (oh am I glad there are no pics of that time) and I used to wear my hair in two pony tails. Fraggle Rock was also still big at this time and thus, all my coworkers called me Red...
I always felt more like Wembley actually.

Yeah, I've lusted over Gobo forever but I'm more like Wembley & Boober. I can see some Gobo & Mokey in me at times though. Not much Red... 'cept when she's envying the popularity of Mokey.

Really? Seems to me that Gobo always steals the show. ... although I'd say in this pic, Mokey's put up a good fight.
I will draw more soon!

Wasn't 5ive some boy band from the late 90's? I haven't heard their stuff but I bet it sounds exactly like everything else from that time.

^_^ Yee! Hee, Mokey is my favorite. I remember as a kid I had some toys of them, I think happy meal type toys, but I don't know what ever happened to them... I think one was in a radish car...

Phraggle In reply to NecrochildK [2005-09-27 23:07:56 +0000 UTC]
Yup, Red came in a radish car, Gobo a carot, Mokey an eggplant & Boober & Wembley shared a cucumber. I've got tons of those cars. I've also got the rare doozer ones too.

NecrochildK In reply to Phraggle [2005-09-27 23:59:50 +0000 UTC]
Ah yeah! Hee, I had all of them except the doozers.

From what I've heard, the doozers and two version of the fraggles cars ( which had " wobble wheels " ) were only available in West Virginia as test market things. I've got 'em all though... being the fraggle dork that I am.
