I've never drawn Jojo pale before so... I did. I have this marker called " blond wood " that I usually use on my Jojo pictures because on that kinda famous production image where Jojo is squinting with that little smile, he doesn't come off as pale as he is in the movie. So I was all BLOND WOOD! But, now that I've seen the movie 7 times, I'm learning that Jojo doesn't get much sun.This is weird though. I'm not sure if I'm all Phraggle-watches-Horton-too-much or what but after this latest viewing, at the end, during the song, I was taken slightly aback when I saw Vlad sing a verse. He sang the " crashing through your door " verse and well, I've never noticed it before. Does Vlad ( the vulture ) always sing that line or is there an alternate version of the movie I keep seeing until today? I know this is odd but, I guess my eyes are too full of tears and wanting to see Jojo sing so I may have just not noticed this before. But I swear someone else sang that line. Call me an idiot if you will but umm... yeah. So... woo.

I don't know where online, I just heard them on a clip from a talk show on TV somewhere while channel surfing... or maybe I was watching that episode of Oprah...
Emma: *approaches Jojo with various fur dyes* I hear you want another forced makeover, which is fine by me. I got this new pale pastel pretty that'll be just prefect for you.
Susanna: Actually, we're trying to give his paleness a little more color
Emma: Oh *rummages through bottles of fur dyes* Well, I got this coral pearl, which will give him a nice shimmering undertone, or we can go all out and just pick some wild color...
Susanna: Say, where's that electric blue your brother uses?
Emma: If we're going that route, we need to dye his black and gray fur to match. May I reccomend neon jade with silver ash fog?

Emma: I got it! This black ice will make his black fur jet black with just the tiniest sparkles of frost blue. This will go perfectly with a new coral pearl complexion.
Susanna: And I like the sound of it too! But can we dye him this glowing neon hot pink next time?
Emma: *grins and shrugs as she preps the shiny white and coral tinted hair dye* Why not?

Uh oh! Jojo's starting to look mad. He's foaming at the mouth and his eyes seem to be... on fire.

Emma: ... maybe it's a reaction to the dye. When Mike tried a different brand, he broke out into the horrible itchy hives.
Susanna: But you haven't put the dye on him yet.
*claps with joy* Yay!! The evil Jojo face!!
Susanna: Oh, thaat's what that is.... *happily grabs dyes and approaches to dye Jojo* Me first!

I love the blue coloration, though. It's exceedingly pretty. And the expression is a nice, subtle expression of... "What?"
I usually just wait til' a movie comes out on DVD and then watch it obsessively. Movies cost a lot.

I know. This movie is rare for me. It actually costs more to buy food at the theater anymore though... not that I do that. I got a free pass this time so I'm prolly gonna go see Jojo at least once more.
