Description
Back when I was... uhh... well, as weird as I am now, I used to draw these quickie little comic books based on a few characters I made up and some based on my or my siblings stuffed animals. In like... 1987, I scribbled out the first issue of " Wicket and Friends ", ( then just called " Wicket W. Warok " ). It was just some stupid little thing but Mom got hold of it and thought it was funny. So, having a sudden interested critic in the form of Mom, I scrawled out a total of 19 " issues " from 1987 'til 1989 I think. I stopped when I started high school; it wasn't a planned stop, it just happened that way.Anyhoo, during my Christmas break of my freshmen year in art college ( ( 1992 ) I'd never had a month off from school before then ), I was compelled to revisit my goofy Wicket comics. This time though, I actually scripted them out. I even bought my first set of Prismacolor markers. Come to think of it, this cover may be the first thing I did in marker.
It took me a year in my spare time to finish these but, I was determined to do just that. They look even more archaic than the " Ralph Funnies " I posted prior to them. ... but they're still kept in a warm place inside myself. I laminated the cover too. * points * You can see where over time, the markers have bled. That's science for ya!
That is Wicket the Ewok from " Return of the Jedi " by the way. Ours ( a plush version ) was this big idiot of whom I still have with my Star Wars stuff. He's unrecognizable as a Star Wars character though. Wicket reminds me that he's a " collector's item " every time I open his closet. Foof's there of course. Some of you may recall Frogger, who's based on my best friends plush frog ( whom lives with me now... (( Frogger, not my friend.
So, uhh, I was considering posting the actual interiors of these books but that would take too long and they're not really works of literary genius.
This is Issue 19's cover. I guess I was.... hmm... 18 or 19 years old when I started these.

HAH! Foof...will I ever get tired of that. :/
You are a one man.....something. -.-; What I mean is; you can do the weird plots on your own, and draw the scenes.

Something in my brain fried since then though cuz I've had some hard times with feeling good about my art. I'm finally getting over that though.

EEEEEEEEEEEWOOOOOOOOOOOOK
Dude... I drew comics in junior high. They were about the adventures of a creature I called Galoose. I stole the name from Gloose, the funny 3-legged creature from Hypernauts, one of the awesomest shows to ever get cancelled. XD

So awesome that I've never even heard of it. It must be from that magical, underground society I've been looking for.

Yeah. I used to watch them when they were on Saturday mornings. I've been meaning to pick up the DVDs actually. This Wicket however is NOTHING like the Star Wars version. Heh.
