I got the urge to upload this here too, so I'll just copy and paste the description from facebook
This is how Aban looks when he doesn't shave :'v
And yeah I changed his hair color, I wanted him more accurate lmao he was under France's care for only 6 years so he only got from him his clothing style xD
His eyebrows are not like that because of England >:c they are like that bc of the Ottoman influence and his eye shape and color bc of the Roman ahaha- it was a good time to explain little things e_e)
The territory that is now Lebanon, was often invaded with Romans, Egypt, Ottomans and some other empires and little countries when the Phoenicians still occupied Lebanon. It's also said that Persians influenced them because of some diagrams on the Lebanese writing system.
Another thing! I don't make Aban or his Nyo counterpart a religious based outfit because, even if the majority of the population is Muslim and the next religion is Christian, there is no official religion there. As I said on his bio "Lebanon follows a special political system known as confessionalism, distributing power proportionally among its various religious sects, of which more than 18 are officially recognized." And I consider it rude to just acknowledge ONE of the various religions that are officially recognized.
He may be part of the Arab community and the Middle East but that doesn't mean he wears the exact clothing as Saudi Arabia for example. The politicians and the Lebanese don't even consider themselves as Arabic, even if they talk Lebanese Arabic as their official language.
