Yes I like this kitty from the Black/White generation
Almost didn't want to submit because I didn't have a suitable background for it, but this simple one will do I suppose ^^
Used Flash, SAI and Photoshop in this one, Photoshop because of the background

I'm defiantly having a Leperasudu in my part when I play through Pokemon Black/White. For ages now I've wanted to raise a cat in my main party! <3
You needn't worry about the background! Even though as you said it's simple, it goes with the image very well. I actually really like the pattern you used! Also, using a glow behind the Choroneko helps make it stand out against the background focusing the viewer on the image anyway! X3
I see you used the SAI style of shading again! I really love that style <3 again it looks really smooth, and the highlights also help the image look more 3D.
