I drew this picture, not primarily because I wanted to show him in this gigantic form but as a vent picture. Dynamax, for those who don't know is a temporary transformation ability pokemon will have in Generation VIII. A controversial idea according to fans, and I've heard all the feedback on the upcoming series. No national pokedex was a complaint I heard from many pokemon fans, but I personally understand that the developers would have to spend a CRAZY amount of time animating all those sequences for the 800+ characters. As a programmer by profession, I understand this limitation. What I would have liked though, is for the game to update periodically to eventually add the rest of the pokemon as they are finished. But that is not gonna happen, at least what I heard. Anyways, I'm not at all bothered about it. The vent for this picture is regarding ANOTHER update. I think you might know what it is.

Yes, it's about the latest updates in SSBU to nerf pichu. Perhaps it was done because of players complaining about pichu being too good? I remember talking to my bro (sorry I haven't talked to ya lately bud) that he was part of some SSBU group with pichu fighters who beat a pikachu team. That made me think who could possibly complain about it. It's such a shame that this had to be done, and it 'might' have been justified according to the community for reasons that pichu should be weaker than pikachu, but I would think the game makers had good reason to make them 'equal' fighters in the first place, as if to make it a tradeoff between the two. Now, I haven't played the game since May so I don't know how badly pichu is affected in practice, but I do know that pichu's hit area is bigger as well as electric attacks damage it more. I would hate to think Nintendo went back to making poor pichu a joke characters because of the complainers. THAT is the reason that pisses me I think. Plus targeting pichu. It's something maybe only a few can relate but at the moment I heard the news (while I was on vacation) I just about wanted to SELL my SSBU game. I calmed down pretty quick since I know it's practically meaningless in the grand scheme of things - I needed to chill in my vacation, I know it's silly to get mad at something I have no control over and I've just read a few self help books earlier that served me to calm my work stress, and I figured I applied it here as well. I just haven't played the game since then, and don't know when I will get back to. Thus, that is why I planned this picture.

Speaking of the pic, it easily looks like Sparks had just eaten the growth shroom in a Smash Bros style fight with incineroar and pikachu. It could be a pokemon battle fight sorta? Incineroar is there because I remember having such frustrations fighting him as I was playing the game, I actually thought HE should have been nerfed as his moves are just too good (even though hard to control). Pikachu is a no-brainer. They could easily be pals but they are rivals here. Sparks is mega pissed here, not finding any cookies or bakeries anywhere and just as frustrated about the recent change. Those pokemon better move before they become poke-pancakes.

I don't think I've had this much to say about a picture ever, but I could get used to having Sparks in Dynamax form. There are endless possibilities I could go with this. Hmmm...
