Description Character ref sheet 8 of 8. Whoo hoo! All the lines are finally done! (don’t remind me that I have to start colouring now).

Edra was by far the hardest because ever since her creation I’ve kept her in a form of her blue and white tunic. While the style of it has changed over the years, the basic colour and fit hasn’t. So, needless to say creating a who new actual armor for her was really difficult because I wanted to keep her iconic look while still giving her the redesign that everyone else was getting. I redrew her armor about 5 times before going with this design (maybe I’ll post the rejects for fun?) so needless to say it was an ordeal the last 2 days.

Arverserd was inspired by those funny wavy swords in the DA verse. Those always made me laugh and I just had to give Edra one. She acutally has 3 different swords throughout the Abist Omeni story line and I’ve drawn Coupe Plumes ([link] ) before (which was given to her by the court of Orlais). Arverserd was crafted by a smith in Hossburg. Not much of a story other than Edra saw it and loved it. Töten on the other had was her fathers dagger. When she decided to join the wardens after her younger brothers death, he gave it to her as a parting gift.

I’m so glad to be done with the conceptual part of this project. Now for the dreaded colouring.

As For Edra, Again It's Just Balancing. Sometimes Adding Something To The Other Side, Even If Small, Just To Balance Out The Difference. Maybe Make A Sash To Hold Her Dagger On Her Upper Left Arm To Balance Out The Fact That It's Missing A Shoulder Plate. And That's It Really :]

Thank you! Sometimes I feel adding two totally symmetrical pauldrons to a set of armor makes it look too 'story book' and unrealistic. I'm also a very unsymmetrical person and like things uneven and in odd numbers, so I have a hard time balancing between a good ratio of uneven to even. Her dagger and sword aren't to scale so that the details could be seen better, so yeah it would totally fit strapped to her arm Thanks!

No Problem, It Also Eliminates Finding Another Place To Put It While Balancing It Out So It's Like Two In One
I Wished I Was Better With Being Unsymmetrical xD
