Something about this painting really bothers me? not sure what though. It looks different on DA then it does on my Desktop? Looks darker here?Related content

Now that i know you use them, i can look for and appreciate your textures more, i think :' 3 and it does seem a bit dark, but i can still see everything clearly so i think it looks fine :' 0

There's something I like about the darkness, actually.. Along with the image of the girl inside a realistic human heart with an anxious-looking expression and reddened knees and toes, it gives the picture a really cool eerie quality to it. It's cool to see what a heart looks like Beef style, and it's pretty darn cool. It appears to have a pattern that looks like red blood cells on its surface, which I really like. It's cool how the girl has hair that's shiny like the heart's outside, and the topographical lines in it that you're so typical of look like the white lines of fat you see in meat, which makes it even cooler. The girl's got a pretty kickass dress on, and in this drawing, even the highlights and shadows have stripes on them, which is at least double awesome (likely getting on for triple with both). I love how the heart is bright scarlet, almost orange, at the top, then goes down to be purplish at the bottom, all the while, your typical lines run through it, imitating the look of the heart's muscle fibres. And of course, there's the rockin' semi-Victorian background with the vein patterns over it.
Super duper cool, kind of sinister picture. There are tons of great things about this one.
