Wooo! Feels good to enter a contest again. This is for the 'Adventures in Wonderland Contest' at I still have the VHS of Alice in Wonderland...somewhere. This version is based on the one that appeared in Tim Burton's version. [link] and [link] (Hope that counts I have no idea what the book says it looks like.)I recently got some super thin yarn. Once I started using it, I knew I had to make this little mouse. It's 3 1/2 inches tall. I love this yarn. Love Love Love. I want to make everything super small.

So cute, what a perfect size! With her little pin-sword and the lace! I think it would be ridiculously funny if you made that nasty Bandersnatch eye, but then where would the sword go? Sword wins.
In the Tim Burton version, her name is Mallymkun! I had to look up the spelling. But in the novel, from what I remember... it's just a sleepy mouse. Like the Disney version.
And as I was looking up the name of the dormouse, I came across the comparison of it to Reepicheep, from Narnia! Oh please, oh please. Reep needs to happen. And then...Stewart Little. And you can have a little mouse army. In Mouseville. But honestly, Reepicheep. Go.
