I just had to :3A lot of the time I will watch a movie or tv show while I'm crocheting. To have something to listen to or watch while I'm working to make time go by faster. A while back I started watching some of the newer cartoons from cartoon network. (After watching my favorites from when I was a kid.) Adventure Time was suggested to me. At first I didn't really get why it was so popular, but it started to grow on me. I try to watch it whenever it updates on the site I use. Jake is my favorite, because Bender from Futurama is my favorite lol. I wanted to make Bender, since Futurama just had it's series finale, but Jake was easier.
Made this last night after the inspiration hit me. He is a little less than 3 inches including his legs. Or 1 1/2 for his body. I wanted a mini version to put on my rear view mirror. I wasn't sure how it would turn out since I was making it up as I went along, but I'm pretty happy with it, even if he does look a bit like a peanut x3

Cute. My friend Toony-chan made her sister both Finn and Jake for Christmas one year. I think she should try to sew Bender.

Thanks! No, I used a chain with slip stitches. I've tried an I-cord in the past but I couldn't get it tight enough to make it look good.
