Just a couple of test verisons of some mini snowmen I'm making. The these are 3 inches and 1 1/2 inches tall. The larger one is big enough for an ornament and the smaller one is perfect for a cellphone charm or keychain. I haven't added the loops for them yet, but these are just the test ones. The 3 inch version is $5 and the small one is $3.Related content

I used a C hook and 'light' size yarn for the small one. Same as the Alice in Wonderland mouse I did.
An F hook for the larger one.

I've never worked with a smaller hook than a G. So I' don't know if I could do it. :}
