Inspired by this image:

Bug is one of a few characters of Griffsnuff's I've been making. After seeing the picture above and not having made anything for Halloween besides a few pumpkins, I decided to make the caulron and hat to make this little scene.

The handles on the cauldron and the rope around the hat are made with chain stitches. The cheeks and eyes are felt. The orange bits are cut up pieces of sponge. I modified my free witch hat pattern to make this one. The stick is just my crochet hook upside down. I used a broken piece of tree bark as a base for this. I wanted to have the tree it came from as a background, but as soon as I went outside to take pictures the wind started to pick up and all my little sponge pieces flew away xD
