dA Messages brings your deviantART Message Center with you everywhere. Sleek and fast, you can view your friend's deviations, feedback and in a few simple taps, you can reply back!
Got a lot of folders or groups? dA Messages handles them with ease and speed, switching between them with just one simple slide and tap.
Need to switch to another application for something? dA Messages will keep running for up to 10 minutes in the background, providing you with the latest messages.

I'd like to thank you for this app,its truely an amazing one.This has helped me when my computer was broken,so i had to use a phone.I thought i could no longer use DA for the mean time,but this provided me time for DA.I was still in touch with my best friends,so i guess i must thank you.So,i was not left out and did not feel like a loser during that time.I'd like to see more of your amazing things you have placed here on DA.Its great theres someone like you here on DA.I will be looking forward to see more of your amazing work.

is there costs in porting it? Or just time?
If you use something like Unity, it can easily take whatever you have made in Unity, and generate the code necessary for ios/android/pc/xbox/other without having to change anything yourself.
The downside to using unity is that besides from having to construct it from scratch in Unity, if you don't have the part bought for the ios/android, then you'll have to send it to unity who would then send it to apple/android on your behalf and take 30% of the profits made. The good thing for me is that I was able to download the android part of unity while they had it for free for a limited time. And I also got the apple part for free at the same time... which won't compile as I don't have a mac xD

I would have to rebuild everything. Unity is made of games not real apps.
It would take 120 hours plus to port it as it is.

I just downloaded the app and opened it and the first thing I noticed was that you can't reorder messages. I always order my messages by oldest to newest, because for deviations I follow several people doing ongoing series, and I don't like seeing pages or chapters in the wrong order. For comments and replies I like to get to the older ones first so that they don't go forgotten.
Could you add this functionality, please?

I love this app.
Great work here. I love the smoothness of it.
It's intuitive and fun. Sometimes when I click back it slides over to all the folders, but that's quite minor.

reason i asked was because there has been some issues with checking notes on a friends ipod as the message center doesnt show up and they cant see anything (this being after all steps needed and expected on the faq section) so we r both unsure of what to do

is there any way to get a notification (or any other message) pushed to the iphone when you get a message on DA? (not necessarily for deviations, but for comments, replies, notes~)

It will only push notifications within ten minutes of shutting. This is due to how iOS works. It may be a future feature if dA allows it

I've seen a few comments about crashes. When will people understand that the so-called crashes are usually just the device running out of memory? At least, that's what Apple's been saying. I'll buy the app.

I'm talking about "crashes" in general, not just for this App. Every App I've seen has one or two idiots saying something along the lines of...
"omg everytime i opn this app, it crashes. not worth 0.99 this app sucks fix it and i'll give five stars but rite now it has one star, i wish i could give it zero"
If no one else but you is having the problem, it's most likely not the App's fault. But people still keep giving crappy ratings for that reason.

Sometimes it is the app itself. Other times memory use. But iOS should manage that itself.
A lot of the time I get reviews such as "cannot find clipboard", which is painful to me, as any user of a computing device should know what a clipboard is.

Yes, but Apple products were made to be simple. They're supposed to look sophisticated, but they're so easy to use, a majority of the people that own one don't know what a clipboard is.

I bought this app and I must say there is a few kinks here and there because of clicking people doesn't load up under the message board but other Thant that the app is quite quick amazing and for mobile settings the deviations are displayed nicely . I just wish the descriptions can be shown as well somehow

It just seems expensive. I've never paid more than $1.99 for an app before, new or not. It's just iTunes money that could be used somewhere else, and reading the reviews, it just seems there are still glitches that need to be worked out. I'd rather not pay $3 for a glitchy app.

Ive mostly heard it crashes a lot, takes forever to download and doesn't have most of the tools needed for it to be a worthwhile app.
Again, I don't know for sure, just going by what I've heard.
