Song: Letters from the Sky - Civil Twilight

AU: A group of seven lab experiments escape the top secret facility in which they were created. The group called themselves the Avengers as they try to reveal to the world the horrors that their governments are conducting, as well as trying not to get captured.

Loki is experiment number 6. He's technically the brother of Thor, due to the fact that they egg from which they were created came from the same donor. He was the result of many lizard-related experiments, and has numerous abilities because of this. He has snake fangs, heat pits (which is a feature found on snakes, allowing them to 'see' heat. The pits are behind his ears, and he hides them with his hat), patches of scale-y skin (see his right-hand cheekbone), the ability to climb practically any surface (like a gecko) and the chameleon's ability to change the colour of his skin. He escaped the lab with the other experiments, but during an attack in which all the experiments were separated, he was recaptured and taken back to the lab. He believed for a very long time that the other experiments were going to come back and rescue him (which they did try to do, but it ended badly), until he gave up hope and ended up hating all of them. After even more torture at the hands of the scientists, he escaped again, broken and thristy for vengence on pretty much everything and everyone.
