Β A story we all know. The 3 frames of this piece(not sure if this's part of a full story or not) tells the truth about the fears some people begin to find reason in during their relationships. Sorry to redefine the meaning of your own art if that's not the concept this magnificent painting was created to portray, but it means so much if it's taken that way. It seems to explain this idea in such a simple way, maybe it has the ability to help others figure out truths about their own situations.

This explains how earlier (later? ''XD XD) when he breaks up with her why, even at first she was mad and upset (as it seems she really does love him/was truly very happy that he had stayed) why it was within a few panels/he hadn't even walked away too far before she came to accept him leaving her.
Because somewhere deep in her mind/soul, she had sorta accepted this/at least greatly feared/realized that one day he would leave her/she would drive him away, as she probably had with most others in her life (whether they were boyfriends or family+friends or anyone ''XD XD) and as she herself predicted/was afraid of.
She didn't even take a day or two to mull over it or play out each stage of grief over said period of time;
She was instantly upset as she had probably at least started to truly believe he would stay forever/they'd be happy, and she instantly fought her own doubts/fears (whether or not they were/are justified ''XD) and the fact that this reality/fear is playing out (as she openly combats it with "No you are not!" in an almost how-could-you-do-this? kinda look, not necessarily just directed at him but also at this ugly, harsh, lonely reality crashing into a life that had become so blissful and happy for her)
She became angry/even more upset, probably over come with emotion, as she thought she had this happiness in her grasp/they could both be happy but now she's probably surrounded by her inner fears whispering 'No, that could never happen (because of me)' and this is one of her final defenses against it; unadulterated rage at this 'reality' setting in.
Her final desperate attempts to try and make it work again, her last scraping of trying to make her surprising new-found happy/perfect reality still work,
Until she gives up entirely, (in denial you could see the fear, even in anger you could tell she was realizing even as she fought it, and bargaining was a final attempt but ultimately most of her had conceded,)) depressed, all/any fight taken out of her by the crashing reality that is (as far as we know) everyone leaves her BECAUSE of her. The sadness sets in, consuming her; her worst fears imagined are now forever her reality, the nail slammed shut without warning, and in ultimate finality, by the leaving of her best everything she had ever met.
Finally we see her, having quickly, and in totally, accepting her fate. Β
Somewhere in the back of her mind, in the deep dark back corners, she had seen/feared this coming, and parts of her realize/at least believe that it is either 'for-the-best' or that it is her 'fate'. The sadness comes from how she had come to believe it could be over turned, that with him by her side/always with her, she wouldn't have to be lonely anymore and they could both be eternally happy together.
(Whether or not it really must be this way (Here's to hoping it doesn't! : D Β '''''''': D Β Β ;D;''''''''' Omigoodness please let them be happy ;u;'''' I have hope, my friends. . . ))
Did you see his face in those first two panels('5 Stages of Grief')? and in 'The Break-up' oh, my, them faces! In 'Denial', you can clearly see he's screwing up his own courage/will to leave, and in 'Anger' that face is heartbreaking, not only to us, but it is a face of heart break from him! He knows this is killing her (and himself as well!) but he goes on. One can only IMAGINE what his face must be like through the rest. My goodness. (good use of not showing us it ALL, Picolo-kun! : D Sometimes it's best to leave it to the readers imagination :3 Not always, but in this case it's killer! > : D)
It makes you wonder what on earth could make him do this; is he the type to 'heroically-tear-himself-away-from-the-woman-he-loves-despite-both-their-sadness-without-explanation-for-her/the-both-of-them'? Or perhaps there is some plan or something that requires her to not be aware of it/perhaps because of danger so he's going off to do it with the intention of coming back? Oh, I hope it's the later /;3;\'' We'll just have to wait for Icarus's part of the story explained :3Β (Dang it, Piccolo-kun! YOU KNOW!! YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON AND WE DON'T AND OH MY GOODNESS YOU KNOW!!!! O3O O3O O3O SPILL THE BEANS!! SHOW US!!!!!! I feel like a lot of people here are like: "HE KNEW HE WOULD HAVE TO LEAVE HER BUT HE IGNORED HER WARNING HE'S SO INCONSIDERATE!"
This makes me quite angry. He loved her and he thought maybe just maybe he could pull through for her. He tried and was dying for her. Yes I do feel sorry for the flame girl/the sun. He should have known it wouldn't work but just wait for his side before you judge him ok?

You got it right the first time. Love is never as clear cut and dry as we want it to be and it doesn't always work out in the end. What they had was real and well he thought he might be the one. Hell, he still could be the one. But I think that his act of leaving her was still justified. I feel he left her because he knew that him dying because of her would hurt her even more than breaking up with her. Y'know since peoples first instincts are to blame either themselves or others.

I do hope they get back together and he is the one but at the same time I don't. At first I was actually mad at the sun because of you look at "5 stages of grief" (or something like that) it shows her not accepting the fact he wants to split up and literally turned up the heat (please correct me if I'm wrong but didn't she turn her hand into a ball of flame causing him to melt more) and she said "No your not." I know she really didn't want him to leave but to use her heat against him I thought was a little harsh.
