Yaye, I like this a lot, its very useful to see other artist's techniques when it comes to their overall process and I find this very helpful to know as a lot of times with my own art I start with the character and then work on the background elements XD So I'm gonna try to see what the reverse will do!

I used to do the same thing Riboo! Another reason why I leave my character for last it's because it's the most interesting thing in the drawing. So if I leave it for last, I'll still be excited to paint it and finish it. See it as saving the dessert for last
I can't tell you how many times I painted a character and gave up on the background...

LOL, yeah, that's probably part of it for me too! XD I love drawing characters and all, but when it comes to BGs, I'm a little bit meh on the whole thing, if only because its not my strong suit and I'm not highly interested in drawing them. However, I've been pushing myself recently in doing so because I need to start getting out of my comfort zone when it comes to art, so its a bit of a love hate thing going on right now XD But I love the backgrounds some people do and it really fleshes out a piece, so I kinda want that feeling of accomplishment as well. So I've been taking small steps XDDDDD
