Tomorrow, I'll be out at the beach with my Mom, so my as well get one more illustration up today. This pic was pretty simple. Just these two standing against one of my sky photos. I honestly didn't feeling like dealing with the part where 7 is pulling 9 up.
This happens after 7 saves 9 from falling back into the ravine. The two of them try to catch their breath while they both apologize to each other. Her for what she said and him for leaving them. 9 then tells 7 and the twins (who are off camera again...) that he's found shelter for them to stay with the rest of the fallen. 7 is surprise to find out that 9 now has all of them.

This is one of my most favorite pieces yet. I love the tenderness in how 9 holds poor 6, and the shock on 7's face. You've captured all of the emotions perfectly, just as how I'd imagined. I love the darker shadows and the hints of moisture and dirt on 9 from being down in the canyons so long.
And another fantastic use of a stock photo, is is the perfect backdrop. I cannot wait to see Chapter 5. And have a wonderful time at the beach, you certainly deserve it! Β

I definitely did have a nice time with my Mom and it was a perfect day for it as well. Chapter 5 illustration should be up tomorrow. Can't wait to see chapter twelve.
