I have a bit of a cold today,
so I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. Figured to put another one of these, before I put up anything else. So still on chapter nine, is a new seen added in that I find more fitting with 9's character. I had to think, this story did take place a few months after 9 awaking and in the movie he seemed to be alive for only two or three days. Point is, he hasn't been alive for very long. Not even a year.Because of this 9 still kinda feels like the new guy outside looking in. Everyone else has known each other for a long time and thus form close attachments. 9 doesn't feel like feel can fit in just yet. This is also the first time he's ever seen all of the together, which is quite surreal to him. Will he ever find a way to belong?

I am so, so, so sorry Piddies for the late comment. I'm finally getting out of this sickness (and I'm so sorry you're suffering too) and back to the computer.
Anyway, back to the reason I'm here. God, this one is really good at illustrating the two weeks I kinda just touched upon, where the clan is together once again, for the first time as a whole...and 9 just doesn't know how to react to this. Poor fellow has had such a confusing and hard start, and now he doesn't know how to approach being part of the family. And I really love how you captured everyone's personality here. 2 and 5 are together, of course, whilst 7 is still a tad stand-offish. The twins and 6, often misunderstood but incredibly intelligent, are off on their own activities, and 8 and 1 are away by themselves, with 1's back facing everyone and on the highest point of the room. You have some damn good talent with symbolism. And poor 9, he looks so sad. I can't wait to see what's next!

Yeah, poor little 9 hasn't had an easy start at life. He clearly doesn't know where he fits in. I'm posting these at least every weekend, so next one should be up tomorrow.
