Description
May 17, 2012: Due to the sheer amount of people ignoring the artist's comments on all of my flash games, I have included a disclaimer at the start screen of this game. Please read it and adhere to it! I appreciate it a lotAS OF FEBRUARY 4th: I am disabling comments. Please read the description here as it will probably answer most questions you have.
THERE ARE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO SAVE WITHIN THE GAME. If they do not work for you, I don't know why! Google it.
Create a Rat Flash Game!
Create your own fuzzy friend with my newest interactive flash. This flash boasts a wide range of colors, featuring colors that rats naturally come in. It also features 20 markings, 19 of which are also natural rat markings (included one more just to be even!).
I apologize if your favorite rat color or marking isn't included. I did the ones that were most common and different enough that they would be easy to include. Some colors for rats are just too similar to others, and there wasn't enough of a difference for me to include them :c
As always, please let me know if you find any glitches!
The fantastic sketch for this flash was provided by I then added my own touches to the initial template and lined it. Other than the sketch, all the art in this flash is of my own creation c:
I included one extra feature in this flash: the ability to create a bio of sorts for your rat. When I did a contest before, I had people post this info in their artist's comments.. and it was really quite fun. I decided to include it in the flash itself this time c: You will notice the colors change according to which color you choose on the 'Finished' page.

I'm aware that there are quite a few people selling designs and I do my best to tell people when they can't.
Free adoptables are fine though.
And you can make characters and give them away, you just cannot sell them for points or real money.

My rat Scooter just died. I'm pretty sure he has been brain damaged since we got him, but he was the sweetest thing. I miss my ratling.

also, i found a glitch for the earrings... on the first option, the X under gold earrings doesn't work. :U

Using the design for adoptables is fine c: it's mostly just the art that I don't like people selling. The X seems to be working for me though? So maybe it was a just a little error in your game at the moment.

......... I'm not sure how to take this comment xD Rats and Mice are not the same thing, and this is a Create a Rat- it is so you can create a rat character, not a mouse character. Rats are not a negative thing.

I just don't like the rat. To me it makes mice sound like pests when someone calls them rats. I'm not sure why but it just does to me :/

Well.. mice are pests, just like rats are. They're both terrible to have an infestation of because they're both destructive. But domestic rats fantastic animals, three of which I own, which is why I made a rat flash game, not a mouse flash game.

This is not a create a mouse, this is a create a rat.
it is in no way an insult to mice, as it has NOTHING to do with rats.
rats and mice are BOTH pests, yet both make house rats.
just because you don't like the word rat doesn't mean the artist should remake this WHOLE thing so that it's a mouse instead.

some rats are pests. some mice are pests. they are still different animals and the cratures in this game have the anotomy of a rat. so you whould have to be senceless to make it mouse creator just because you dont like the species. :/
