i started playing fire emblem and it took me about 40 minutes to choose the character settings i wanted but i finally decided and now i may like my avatar a bit too muchi just wanted to share how cute this boy is... i have a weAKNESS for pink haired characters and i was so happy to find that i could give him pink hair you have no idea

oh my god henry is fantastic i love him! he and sumia and lon'qu are my favorites but there's not a character i don't love in this game, honestly!
and im so thankful that there's a casual mode because if i had to play with permadeath it wouldnt be pretty i'd have like one unit left haha,,,

I find her to be rather useless, to be honest.
I mean, whenever my characters are injured, I try and get her
to heal them or something but she always ends up getting killed first -_-

yeah same here! it's a shame because she really is supposed to be useful,,, but i just suck so bad at strategy to the point where i just end up crossing my fingers and hoping no one desperately needs to heal for the rest of the stage lmao

It was a life saver when I got that sword with the healing abilities,
at least, that's what I remember it to be. I just know that whatever
it was it allowed me to attack and heal with the same character and
it was the biggest relief of the game xD

if you could get the game, which route do u think you would choose? id probably go with hoshido just because the storyline seems easier aaa but nohr definitely seems like itd be really interesting. maybe by then id have enough experience playing the game to actually be decent at it hahha

Hmm, I think I would go for Hoshido also, mainly because that tomboyish woman with the red hair looks really cool xD I honestly thought she was a guy at first >_> Also, I think it would give me some experience before trying to tackle the other version; I'm planning to get both at some point, I'm too much of a fan not to xD
The only thing that really bugged me was that I didn't want to choose Hoshido because I felt like that would be betraying Nohr and I value my loyalty to even fictional characters; I'd just feel really bad betraying them xD

I restarted my Awakening game the other day because I really wanted to play through the game as Robin because

So I was on the battle where Ricken comes in and I just wasn't quite sure if I needed to keep Ricken alive in order to have him join my party, but being the poor defenceless boy he was, he just kept getting killed and eventually I got him to survive long enough to pair him up with Fredrick because he was my best hope of keeping Ricken alive. I had to save midway through the battle because I was playing at school and I later realised that I had saved at a pretty bad time so I ended up having to delete that save thing but I didn't realise I was still in 'delete mode' and I ended up deleting my entire file -_-
I'm probably going to spend the whole night catching up today, but I'll be skipping the battles instead of watching them like I usually do to speed up the process.

go d omg i have the same problem with getting new characters kinda, i didnt know that you had to talk to people you wanted to recruit so i thought if u just beat them in combat theyd join your party for some reason?? so like i had to restart the level where u meet gaius about 12 times because i kept killing him or the enemies got to him before i could get him to safety lmao...

I think I'm at about Chapter 14 now but I can't get past the level to get Noire
because there are just so many enemies and I just can't kill them ;-;
I've been using reeking boxes to level up all my characters and I got a little
carried away with Ricken; he's super OP now

im only on chapter 12 and i have some serious grinding to do holy crap
my entire team got destroyed on chapter 11 and everyone died except for like 3 units and it was so heartwrenching somehow i made it but i was cry ING. those reeking boxes finally seem like a great idea hahaa,,,

The thing I really like about reeking boxes is that you can easily obtain bullions in them so, if you run out, you always have more money to spend on more xD
I don't know if this will help but normally when I use them to level up my characters, I pair the weak ones with stronger ones that they can support with, that way, the more their relationship improves, the more they'll start hitting enemies from the sidelines and therefore getting more HP to level up without dying constantly. It's a rather lengthy process but it works quite well for me. Also, if an enemy has really low HP, I switch them over so that the weaker character gets a decent amount of XP to level up once they kill them. It works well to fill my support log too xD

(((oh gosh i apologize for such a late response)))) dude i do the same thing! i like to pair up weak characters with strong ones. it just seems to work haha. plus im an absolute sucker for support convos,,, all of the characters are such nerds i love it so much.
oh! reeking boxes seem like a really good idea actually i'll keep it in mind! i actually bought the dlc pack with crazy exp and gold levels just so i could work on my characters and level them up instead. they're super useful but even then i still suck at it... it's a process! ive got a lot of work to do for sure

yes syess getting level s supports is really exciting for me and im trying so hard to pair up characters that have adorable conversations. like lon'qu and cordelia and sumia and chrom for example hhaaa
im always worried about running out of gold so the dlcs are very reassuring, plus theyre fun as well c: it's worth what you pay for it honestly! (and its not that much i think like a single dlc is $2.50?) yeah dont make urself use those bronze weapons yo!
