Description
I saw some fanmade Sonic Channel wallpapers made and I asked their creator on how he did it, he gave me some tips and I wound up making this. Behold, The Default Wolf Avatar from Sonic Forces, or Buddy if that's what you choose to call him.Alternate version here: sta.sh/01pxh9gc15fo (new version with fixed texture work)
EDIT: decided to touch up the texture work a bit, hope you like this better!

Definitely digging that name. It's just too honest and to the point.

The Brush I used was a special sketching brush for Clip Studio Paint that a friend sent me a download for months ago. Sadly the download he set up expired and I have no idea what the source of it was. My advice for simulating it is to probably try and get a brush with either a pencil or a sort of paper texture. As for the background dots, I used CSP's line tool and changed the pattern from a solid line to output circles. After that I altered the gap of the dots and changed it to 120, after that I kept copy pasting rows of dots until I got what was inside of the circle while linking that layer of dots to the circle below it so none of the dots would spill out. As for the Texture on the character I overlayed a white grunge texture over the finished drawing and made it clip to the drawing layer so that the character was the only thing affected by the texture.
Hope that helped!
