I managed to get something else done, yay! Heh
I have to say I am definitely set on painting now. I had so much fun working on this!
I feel so much more freedom not having to worry about lineart, and I like the style and potential of painting more, too.
None of the shading is "blended" using a smudge/blur tool like I used to, also. I've actually painted the shades of color themselves.
Done in Krita with 2 layers (3 including the plan sketch).
