Description
The 1. SF-Volksgrenadier-Division was established following the Night of the Long Knives. The SF is linked to the KGRNS, a party founded by Hitler's rival Gregor Strasser. After the purging of Strasser, the KGRNS was taken over by the NSDAP and given to Goebbels to lead. Goebbels got permission to establish his own "Volkische Front" or "People's Front".
