This reminds me of a short story I read. I can't remember the name, but it's about a man who tries to prove to an old local that he can top -75 degrees by going out into the cold with a husky (who doesn't like him very much cause he's whips him) and getting to a camp on the other side of the woods. The journey takes a few days an the only way he can keep warm is building a fire...wait, it's called "To Build A Fire". That's it, lol. Anyways, he ends up losing his fire and developing frostbite in the process. He keeps on trying to rebuild it, but ends up dying. I couldn't help but saying how much I imagined something like this when reading that story. It's really impressive
