It's just sad most of my DA friends are gone. XD Not many people are here to see them anymore. But I've been having very heavy art blocks so I don't have real decent arts to post, and DA isn't the kind of place to post sketches..

But of course I'll try to post more, when my time allows me.

It was over by the time you wish but that's ok. Where I live here is always ahead so I try to post it at night.
It was just simple, no Birthday cake.. but we have buffet with family and friends so that is something at least, I'm just happy to have my friends wish me, I don't expect more. I should find time to post more (and also reply to your other messages.. oh god.. long overdue!!) but I just hate being so busy and tired lately. ;; I'm always here despite not posting, just lurking alot, no time for real activities.

i also think it's the best to spend your birthday with people you love, i'm glad you had a good time despite everything!
and don't push yourself, just answer if you find the time or energy to do so, it's all cool!!
(also same with the constant tired-ness, being low-energy is kinda my default mode now, really sucks.)

Yea I think those awesome people are actually Birthday gifts themselves!

They're too long, I think been over a year?? If I don't try to get around to them I will never get around to them so I'll see what I can do. XD

Yea I can see the similarities, this is purely coincidence.. wasn't thinking of that lol.
And I always thought Rainbow and Aurora are like opposites.. both colorful, one you can only see during day, the other during night.

Yea those sparkles and the Auroras in the middle are brushes, I made the big ones with purple hues myself though.

oh awesome! was the aurora a brush that came with photoshop? i remember having a brush like that on elements once but it didnt come with my CS6 OTL

No, I downloaded from DA, it's this one: Aurora
Those that came with PS are very basic, I have to find better ones myself.

oh okay I think we are talking about 2 different things but I will take that as a reference anyways, couldnt find the actualy brush thing i was talking about

oh its actually on the PS 8, this is a example of it, its icon is a straight line in the brush tools, and you just stroke it across and it creates a colorful aurora borealis effect:

I remember that pic but no, mine don't have the aurora brush.. I'm using CS5.

It was 2008 when you made that pic.. there was already PSP 8?? I don't recall that.. wow I am super outdated, I thought PSP 6 is the newest.. it may be there but I simply missed it so I'll go back and check later..
