You can do it on either GIMP or PhotoShop. I did it through experimentation, but I'm sure that you could find a tutorial on how to do it somewhere.

That...is priceless...I work at a lab where people have a project exactly like this for class every semester and this is the best take on the iPod ad that I've ever seen. Excellent work.
