Description
Alot of things inspire me.1. Angels and Airwaves' album "We Don't Need to Whisper"
This type of music (I describe it as "airy") always makes me drift off into my own little world. Currently, this is one of my favorite albums.
2. Tarzan soundtrack (c) Walt Disney.
I think I listened to this CD every night of my life when I was younger. I always immagined different scenerios while I listened to it... and I'm still not sick of the songs. I will love it forever.
3. Music!
Music in general inspires me on all sorts of different levels. Techno, dance, zen, rock... This picture I mainly intended to show more instrumental music, though. I always thought instrumental music let your imagination have a lot more room to work than music with lyrics.
4. Star Wars (c) George Lucas
I'm such a giant Star Wars fan. If there was any fictional world I could live in, it would probably be the Star Wars universe. Weather it be the different species, worlds, vehicles, weapons, or the Force, I was always in awe of it all.
5. Fable (c) Lionhead Studios
I only started playing Fable (2 and 3) recently, but I love the style and have even drawn some fanart for it.
6. Dynasty Warriors (c) Koei
If there was one thing in my childhood that sucked the most time out of me, it was this game. I love these games. I don't care if the majority of the world doesn't. I spent a lot of time researching the era and finding out all I could about my most loved characters and the majority of the drawing I have probably relate to the Three Kingdoms in some way or another.
7. Fantasy
I've always been in love with Fantasy and elves. Lord of the Rings elves, Night elves, generic elves... I love them all. I love the earthy feel of this genre and I'm always inspired by the beautiful worlds and beings created within it.
8. Nintendo
Some of my earliest memories are of watching my brother and cousin playing Super Mario Bros. I've loved Nintendo ever since and it always gives me a rush of nostalgia. I love the complete randomness of the characters. Like, a plumber who saves a princess from a giant turtle in a land that is alive in itself. How great is that?
9. Zelda (c) Nintendo
My favorite game of all time is and will always be Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It was the first game I ever beat on my own, and I still play it over and over again. Link was also my first cartoon crush
10. Lord of the Rings
When this first came out, I couldn't get enough of it. My friend and I played "Lord of The Rings house" all the time and we couldn't get enough of it. For the record, I always like Aragorn best. My attraction for fantasy, warriors, and adventure was all put into one and I was always inspired to create worlds just as great.
11. The World of Narnia
When the world comes alive around you and has the ability to speak, well, who wouldn't be in awe of such a place?
12. The Pendragon Cycle - Taliesin by Stephen Lawhead.
This is a series of six (I think) books about a realistic version of King Arthur. "Taliesin" just happened to be my favorite. My dad would read them to me all the time. I've always been inspired by the medieval and dark ages, and you know, just the time of England's birth. Kings, knights, princesses, warriors, it has everything I love about the genre.
13. Song of Albion - Silver Hand by Stephen Lawhead
A trilogy set in a Celtic based world. This is my favorite book series of all time. Also read to me by my dad, I always loved the idea of a celtic world. The story was just so wonderful to me and I will always remember him reading to me about the adventures of Llew Silver hand and his Best Friend, Tegid Tathal. It inspired and furthered my love for the celts and medieval times.
14. Walt Disney
I want to know what kid wasn't inspired by Walt Disney in some shape or form. It's all so magical~
15. Robin Hood
Again, my love for the medieval ages shows up here. I always adored the story of Robin Hood. Also a love for Archery.
16. Water and the creatures in it.
I've always been fascinated by the world of water, mermaids, and the creatures that live there. It comes out more in my traditional works though, I think.
17 and 18. Love
Love is... a complicated subject for me. But I'm always inspired by it. Weather it be romantic, or between family, it's beautiful. Picture from: [link]
I am also inspired by these lovley people everyday.
I love you guys.
