Wow. Looks like the Emperor of some intersteller race of techno-bugs suspended in some throne with a legion banner behind him.
Beautiful stuff, is the body form made from photo textures like a motorcycle engine or something, cut, warped and built on top of each other?

Yes, that's right. I used photomanipulation as a base by using parts of motorbikes, then I painted over it for a smooth effect.
