Description 'Cos there's no school like old school, when it comes to monster slaying. Unfortunately, swimming all the way from 11th century Scandinavia gets you in half-dozen pages too late.

This idea was sparked by some bright cookie in comments to the Monster Hunter arc - sing out for credit. I accidentally deleted a backlog of comments I meant to respond to.

You might notice that, fatally, Sarah has developed some minor resistance to Distracted by the Bulge pants dangly bitsSexy and just about masters the art of maintaining eye contact against all odds.
And I've just realized this is the THIRD time poor Sarah has been exposed to Full Frontal Male Nudity, and none of it has been Jareth's. SulkingGlowering material for His Nibs indeed.

and this is a hurried and a silly one because I am le busy again.

MUST HAVE THIS LINE!!

*sigh* The down-side in re-reading is that it encourages future plot-bunnies. So I'm developing a skill in wrangling the plot bunnies. Mayhaps I can work this into a GND-spin-in-progress.

Hmmm...

"and glitter." Never underestimate the glitter.

Oooh... tragic plot twist. Sarah develops a MAJOR allergy (or is it psychological aversion?) to glitter.

Awwe, poor Beowulf. I hope they're going to at least offer him a cup of tea (and many a towel or something) before he swims back.

Is he by any chance Jareths Great godson twice removed or something?

Not Beowulf. Grendel's Mother, however, may have some distant relation to Jadis...

... How bad is it that I picked up on the bunny in the first panel before I caught it in the credits, and went, "BUNNY VS BEOWULF YES"?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

Fordorthien In reply to AsheRhyder [2012-07-11 20:43:38 +0000 UTC]

Now that would be epic. Though I can't help but imagine the fight ending rather abruptly when certain dangly bits (cause Beowulf simply does not do clothes, evah) encounter bunny teeth and goes the way of the carrot. Can't decide between sympathetic wince or sadistic laugh if such an eventuality were to take place (never did care much for RayWulf, after all) ...

Pika-la-Cynique In reply to Fordorthien [2012-07-12 07:56:07 +0000 UTC]

I think, if I never get round to drawing it, that Sweeney hires Beowulf as a personal trainer/chewtoy for Bunny. They have epic fights every Thursday evening in the woods behind the Building. Then Beowulf goes quaffing with Nanny Ogg, gets dead drunk from underestimating Scumble, every time, and Frankie happily picks up the pieces so to say. Or sometimes Crowley leaves the passed-out Wulfie naked face down outside the local Catholic nursing school, which is totally a good deed technically but gets all his Carnal Tempting sorted out for a month.

And this is why Classical heroes are the best. They're both ripped AND naked.

Please please PLEASE let that happen!!

Also, I think that Sarah has enough traumatizing images to stem off those shared dreams with Jareth for a good bit, don't you? XD LOL, "bits"~

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Fordorthien In reply to KazumiKuwabara [2012-07-12 22:58:06 +0000 UTC]

Oh, I don't know, our supremely sneaky King has proven that he's quite adept with dreams so far, so I think he'd find a way to get past any and all obstacles, traumatizing or not. And the step from unfortunate visions of dangly bits to certain *ahem* enhancing trousers isn't all that far, so somewhat risquΓ© dreams aren't all that unthinkable (and no, that's certainly not my own obsession talking).

I admit, I might be a wee bit damaged from all the more or less brilliant romances I've slogged through over the years, but I find euphemisms highly amusing
