Because of what won the #200 wishlist Poll - [link] - I think that addresses several of the top choices. Kinda.
So Jareth's latest shenanigans really left the Fourth Wall in rubble. I'd apologize for the excessive amount of meta in the latest pages, buuuut contrived fanservice is fanservice nonetheless, ne?
The flimsiest excuses for a make-out, really. And just under-scoring the point that if there weren't all those issues in the way...
((I'm honestly unsure whether this was what Jareth was timeskipping ahead to - it's a Speshul, but it's numbered, but it's out of continuity... - he may or may not have 'seen' it coming. There is another big plotty arc starting up soon, however, and that may be what caught his interest...))

You know I was never a J/S Shipper untill I read Roommates and now this. And then I happened to be watching Labyrinth again at the weekend and my new found shipping tendancies made me a little uncomfortable. Jailbait! Still at least there's not really any overt perving. By the way, love the comic.

I do so love to push my glittery JS ship. And while I in no way excuse Jareth's coming on waaay too strong to an inexperienced and flustered teenager, I will give the jailbait thing a pass on the whole "fairytale" motif grounds - plus it is why the film works, because were Sarah any older and more certain of her femininity, Jareth really could've gone in for a seduction angle and she probably would've fallen for it; as it is, she is so perfectly balanced and hesitant between childhood (innocence, simplicity, black and white morals that say he must be her scary villain) and womanhood (a more nuanced worldview in shades of grey, and sexual awareness that would allow him to play wicked temptation/sympathy for the devil) and wavering in her impressions of him that he cannot find a lasting advantage to defeat her. Is my take on it, anyhoo.

I love this comic! I stayed up all night reading it from page one all the way to 202! I love how expressive your characters are, they make me laugh out loud. I was literally holding my mouth last night so I wouldn't wake my roommates while busting a gut. Thank you for this labor of love!
