Because of what won the #200 wishlist Poll - [link] - I think that addresses several of the top choices. Kinda.
So Jareth's latest shenanigans really left the Fourth Wall in rubble. I'd apologize for the excessive amount of meta in the latest pages, buuuut contrived fanservice is fanservice nonetheless, ne?
The flimsiest excuses for a make-out, really. And just under-scoring the point that if there weren't all those issues in the way...
((I'm honestly unsure whether this was what Jareth was timeskipping ahead to - it's a Speshul, but it's numbered, but it's out of continuity... - he may or may not have 'seen' it coming. There is another big plotty arc starting up soon, however, and that may be what caught his interest...))

Though I could only guess that the prom pictures are so embarrassing to Sarah cause she didnt actually have a date or she had to go with a family member. Which if set up right could lead to much fluffiness y'know?
And as to what's in the box? Sarah's Wedding gown. He doesnt want her to see it because if she did she'd misconstrue the whole thing and whap him again or get all fuming mad at his presumptive nature etc etc. Which if set up right as well with just the right dash of drama and sincerity could also lead to amazing fangirlish squeeing at the fluff there in.
Though I'd suspect that Sarah'd probably accuse him of doing the creepy Erik thing only w/o the manaquin.

I was actually thinking that she went to prom looking as she did in Jareth's peach-induced hallucination ballroom scene. That would be embarrasing for her if Jareth, or anyone, actually, found that out.

For those who've been asking, I got the scoop from a couple goblins (who are surprisingly easy to be bribed with toffees) -
The prom photos depict the time Sarah couldn't hold her liquor at an after party. Jareth's security cameras caught her pretending to do naughty things to the statuary in his labyrinth.
The box contains Ziggy Stardust's platform boots. Jareth would hate for his reputation to be sullied by everyone realizing he is at heart a disco diva.
Of course, goblins aren't known for being very straight with the truth ...

Oh my gosh! Reading it the second time I am such an idiot xD The box is the one under Jareth's bed when Sarah went on her secret spy mission! I already had the photos/Sarah's prom pics put together, but the box thing just hit me and now I feel really slow...
