Description Look who I found being all immortal and French and le sexy in an old sketchbook.

Yes, LKH has gone a bit loopy (although 'The Harlequin' was something of an improvement.). And someone needs to GIVE THAT VAMPIRE A FRENCH THESAURUS ALREADY. But man, I loved the first books. And Jean-Claude, of course. Guilty Pleasures is right.

Smirking immortals in frilly poets shirts just do it for me, it would seem...

biro pen doodle.

Jean-Claude (c) his ma petite, I mean, erm, L.K. Hamilton

Rawr, now that is one great art piece of Jean-Claude I've read only 6 tomes of Anita Blake series (the rest is just some weird but regular porn from what I saw - eeeeewww). And that's my favourite character of the series so what the heck I like his stare and the hair... Maybe you should think about finishing this someday (or maybe not - if this gives me nosebleed I don't wanna think what would happen if I saw a complete drawing) xD .

I miss the first books too, back before they became 98% weird, metaphysical porn ;_; But she IS getting better about the pr0nz, a little anyway. In Blood Noir Anita ACTUALLY solves a crime!

Nooo... please tell me you don't really mean it about liking the earlier books better... ;_;
Gimme yummy paranormal smex over ultra-violence and gore anyday...

So, so nice. I always had trouble visualizing Jean Claude but this is lovely.

Thanks to you I now see the Jareth/Jean-Claude parallels that my mind had stubbornly refused to concede. No wonder I'm so very fond of them both. JC is a little more... adult, perhaps? But Jareth was totally my first sexy villain love - always and forever, amen.

Can I please add my rabid fangirl vote to Anita & her entourage having a cameo on GND? I'd love to see how you would draw Anita.

And lastly, why LKH, why? *laments* I started the series two weeks ago, blazed through them and now I'm waiting for the last two books to appear on my doorstep. I was sort of.. dismayed after a certain point. Do you still read them despite the revolting amount of gratuitous sex?

Squeal! Jean-Claude eeee! Love him.

Seriously, you should have Christine and Sarah maybe Elizabeth too, fussing over their men and such, then have Anita show up with all her men in tow... I think she's up to 19 of them now. I could send you a list. I can see Nanny Ogg sitting her down for a lovely chat. *giggle*

-squee-

Dear lord, him and Jareth would be just wayyyy too much to take in. I think it might put me over the top.

I wonder why someone hasn't drawn that yet.

I dunno who this is, but he definitely looks up to no good. He's very bad for you, I would imagine.

He's a super powerful vampire - 400 years old, Masta of Da City - who runs a strip club and spends the first five books in the series trying to get into the feisty, Mind-Control Resistant! Sue-heroine's pants.
And then frolics therein for the remainder of the series.

He DOES kick ass, but he seems to spend more time licking... - never mind.

Hahahahaha... You're so cute. You and your descriptions. I'm not that into vampires, but if he's really good at it, a little licking would be just fine.

Ooooh...I love LKH. I just finished Obsidian Butterfly. I can understand why Anita has a hard time choosing. Jean Claude is just to romantic.

Pretty scech and if I understood that it is drawn by writing pen...I am especially attached to pen sceches... plus points from my side

Oh dear, now I'm imagining the pair of them. Odd meeting that would be, don't you think? I can't quite tell if they'd be bosom companions or arch-rivals. Perhaps something in between.
