I participated in the revived Secret Solenoid this year, and with prompts like 'piercings' my mind went into places and this was born out of it. I have to admit I struggled with the contrast I wanted into this with the light source focused on the two and the wires. But why should an artist's life be easy, huh? In the end I got it very close to what I had in mind, so it's a win.
