Nah, Airachnid is the more coldblooded. She even took advantage of her own Insecticon army and didn't care one bit when Cylas thanked her when she killed him.

Well Cylas and Airachnid weren't really friends either. He infected her too and she killed him. Personally while Airachnid is extremely cold-blooded I think still Cylas is the worst of them...Not only his treatment of Breakdown I remember when he killed his own men who revived him. That was too ruthless to me. And Airachnid is funnier x)
Make me think that in Japanese version Airachnid is in love with Jack...What about a triangle between Arcee x Jack x Airachnid (I'm sick I know)

No they weren't. I think Airachnid would have ended up killing Cylas even without Thirst episode. She didn't care if killing was a mercy I think it was her nature. Well I find Airachnid funnier the way she had been beaten up by Soundwave so easily and some of her lines were kinda fun in a twisted way. CYLAS while a villain well...the only thing which was funny was the way he found out that he had a place on the table. I cheered up for Megatron and Knockout for this x)
Yes it was only hinted in the english version...not so much in Japanese version.

I'm not sure how you define funny things. More like you smile and cheer someone because of a relief and your ways of belief have come true with the show, not as something funny like jokes. People also depends on laughter to deal with bad things as well.

WellΒ that's only when it comes to this. I don't like Airachnid but I tried to find things good about her. She is a hateful horrible individual who deserved her fate. But she is the kind of villain you love to hate if you see what I mean. And when I talk about funny things in this case I talk about things which made her so unlikeable that sometimes I can't help but finding it funny. Nothing wrong about it...
Well the episode Predatory if I remember well where she chases after Jack right before Arcee comes to help. She said things like "my sweet Jack" and at one point she traps him against a tree and caressed him before Arcee came.

I actually like Airachnid. She's a baddie and a good one. No "well, I could change my mind and be a goodie for a moment, teehee" type, no, she's a real deal when it comes to being someone who thrives only for her own good, and her hobbies like hunting species to extinction if it was fun enough.
That comes back to the Predatory episode, which was her debut episode. She was meant to be dangerous and evil to the core. A sadist who'd play with the prey before killing them mercilessly. And in this case I don't mean play like a pedophile (which definitely wasn't the intention of the makers, that's for sure), but like cat and mouse in real life. She enjoys seeing people in fear, in despair, because she's in control, not them. And as long as she's in control, she keeps her calm, when things don't go her way, she loses her temper.
And that brings me to my point: I hate pedophilia like a plague. '-' Β

Well I hate Airachnid for what she did in the show. (Her actions like killing Breakdown, killing Tailgate, scaring Arcee to life) but as a villain she is great. They made a good job with her because she was a villain we love to hate and I hate her to the core. Something which was different from others villains in the show because she has absolutely no redeeming traits. However I didn't have the same feelings with Cylas...
The English writers wouldnt have written a pedophile character. Villains want to be in control in many ways...and the way they would do to be in control made them very hateful. Airachnid sounded very flirty to me most of time with every characters in the show so it is part of her personality I think. But most of all she isΒ in control and she would act the same with everyone such as Arcee, Jack. Everyone would interpret her interactions with characters in many way. You made a great point

I didn't say I liked what Airachnid did in the show. I was sad because of Breakdown's death, and it even happened so suddenly it felt unreal at first, but death comes like that, so in that manner it was a very real scene. No deeper emotional scenes before or after. BAM, just like that he was gone. What comes to Cylas, at first I was terrified of him wiping out his own team, but as I thought of it more, all of them were most likely as twisted in their minds with taking over the world as Silas himself, so in that manner Cylas did a favor to the humans on Earth and the Autobots for getting rid of one part, if not all, of the MECH.

Yes that happened so fast...And it was so horrible. I was disgusted because Breakdown wasn't such an evil guy (we don't know his past so we can't know what are his crimes). He was very nice to Vehicons and he had some respect toward Bulkhead...And I hate when writers said that finally Breakdown was irredemable and only anΒ opportunist. x( I just hated this.

But Breakdown was an irredeemable opportunist. :') He went with the option that fit him the best. If he could smack thinks into pieces, he'd do it without much questioning if it was right or wrong. He tossed the stone pillar at Miko, he shot a missile at Optimus without caring who'd blow up with it since KO was very nearby, he jumped down from the Nemesis to smash ice into smithereens which could have caused an avalanche... and he went after Airachnid and ignored Dreadwing AND Megatron's warnings. The only part that he hesitated bit was when Bulkhead saved him from MECH and in the end he still chose the Decepticons. Probably would have been too much to try and be the good guy with his reckless behavior that probably was worse than the wreckers'.

Breakdown was far from being good I agree but I wouldn't call him as irredemable. More like an anti-villain. While some Decepticons are twisted to the core he was one of few (along with Dreadwing) who remained "normal". And while it was expecting that he could die he didn't deserve to die like this. I think even KO was more ruthless than he was. And his fate...while I understood KO's view seeing him torturing Breakdown's remains made me sad

Hmm, perhaps an anti-villain, but a baddie nevertheless. Usually deaths in TF series have been quick, unless it's Optimus (lol; ), and not much mourned after, or very little. When someone's being mourned a lot after, it's a sign they're coming back alive. =_=;
What comes to Knock Out, he understood Breakdown was dead, and Cylas was alive in his corpse. Thus he tortured Cylas and probably got more inspiration for it when Breakdown's corpse was right there to remind him what Cylas did.

Well depends on the character. Cliffjumper's death for example haunted Arcee during the serie. And I think if Bumblebee died, it would have been devastating for the team (no mention the Decepticons would have won)
Yes I understand. That's my way of thinking. I think KO hid his feelings but still, it was his body's partner.Β Nevertheless...that's sad to see. I iunderstand that Breakdown dies (even his death was horrible) but used like this that's a lot worse.

Because Cliffjumper was in the pilot episodes and those five were a lot more dark than most of season 1 and 2. Someone had to die for viewer to understand right from the start that this was serious business. It also had a huge part of Arcee's character growth. Not to forget Tailgate's role when it comes to Arcee's hatred towards Airachnid. Hmm, Bee, got to love that dramatic scene where he gets shot! And the even more dramatic magic "I'm alive again" only to kill Megatron. X) Lets all toss dead bots into the liquid, and heal Ultra Magnus' arm, but before we do any of that, we'll just revive the core of the planet!

Yes that's why I liked Arcee's development. She is a very broken character and I like her interactions with Jack, coming from cold and aloof to a very caring sisterly figure
