Knock Out is calling! He is eager to smack you down!
When one paper isn't enough, use two! I think my eyes went haywire a couple of times when I tried to fix the perspective for this, gruuuuu T^T; Stupid paper edge didn't want to cooperate with me or with my camera. And my hand hurt a lot from the position. All we do for art, huh?
Mmmhm. I need to figure out something for the paper edges >:I

tools used: pencil HB + 4B, eraser, camera, Photoshop CS5 to edit uglies and stuff!

That sharp light is well just sharp light from lamp or it is effect of different kind of pencils?

Actually I'm not sure where the lighter edge came from, it might have something to do with the type of lamp I used, since it doesn't have a single bulb, but long stick kind of. The light might have focused on the corner all evil and brighten it up. Next time I'll use small halogen lamp for sure! Like I did with the Prowl one.

I'm not that great at shading and my old art teacher shot my self esteem on shading to hell on literally every project. Seriously! The lady had it out for me cause I finished quick and if I slowed myself down I as lazy and got marked off for it T^T also I'm only good at landscapes and only if I'm looking off of something. I can't really do much if I'm not looking at an already existing picture or better yet and object. LOL

When I teach, I do tell things how they are and then explain how to do it better, but your art teacher? She is on a wrong job if she didn't explain at all (read: teach) how to do it properly and instead just stomped on you. But! Usually people who are unsure of themselves takes constructive criticism as insults ect. and then they feel even less about themselves 
You know, when I draw fan art, I look at references, and that's because I want to get the character's looks correct. Sometimes I even go look at my own works of original characters to look references just because I can't remember how I drew something and what kind of clothes that character had. It's not anything to be ashamed off if you can't draw stuff out of your head. That will become easier with practice; The more you know how to draw, the easier it will be to get ideas out of your head without references

Just sit crooked on your chair, in same angle towards your work and draw "normal" looking objects or characters. Follow the perspective of your eyes, not the paper ^^v
