I wanted to do a painting of my favorite Starscream doing what he does best: Plot...evilly.Oil paint

Somewhat. They take a bit of practice and they require a few more chemicals to clean up and they are much more expensive than acrylics. But they blend and mix VERY easily and you can get thick with them. They are probably the best paint there is...considering nearly all the masters used and still use oils

Well it took me a little over an hour to draw on the canvas. And given that it was oil paints and they have to dry much slower than acrylics...I'd say 8 hrs of solid painting...I can't really remember

But it sounds like you were consistent with making progress on the piece. If it was me, it would of taken me a week just to finish it. That's amazing.

Well I don't really like to use oil paints, for the fact that they take forever to dry and because you can't use water, so I use acrylics. But of course, I've only used them once.

Holy thrombosis, you did this in OILS... Very impressive. And you caught that smug, plotting grin just perfectly. He may not LOOK like G1 Starscream, but his mind is warped in all the right ways.
