I've been following pika since she started out on deviantart. I've watched her art style change and grow, its totally cool that you're just defending your art but pikas eye style is completely her own if you look at her old drawings they are all totally original and look like nothing I've ever seen before. the eyes on pikas jinx are extremely detailed and you can basically see all the time she spent on making them her own. im in no way trying to bash on your art but pikas seem to be a bit more detailed and original compared to yours.

I'm not talking about the actual eyes themselves, it was the shading around the eyes near the bridge of the nose. The color and placement was very similar.
Of course it is original, every artist has their own style.
There is no need to state who is better, or who is more original. In fact, its rather rude when you put it that way.
Just like her, I have created my own style over the years, and I find it incredibly rude that you would say something like that.
As I said, it is not just the eyes that were my problem, it was the things that were in her drawing that were completely identical to mine, that set me off. It's a VERY well done drawing, and she is very talented.
But to copy another person's work, even if it's not completely, is not talent. I spent a large amount of time on my drawing, to share with my watchers and other people on the internet.
You can say whatever you please, but art-ripping is never okay.
Obviously, she is not me and I am not her, so they are not completely the same. But the idea is still there, and it's rather upsetting.
You cannot deny the similarities when they are right in front of you. I understand you are trying to defend her, because she may be your friend (I do not know) but to degrade, or straight up say my artwork is less 'better' , 'detailed', or 'original' than someone else, isn't respectful at all and shouldn't be said.
I confronted her on her piece because of the obvious.
I did not look for a fight, and I did not bash her art in any way.
I didn't even ask for her to change anything.
This comment was not something I was hoping to read, and has clearly ruined my day.

I was truly hoping for you to admit the art-ripping, and possibly give me at least SOME credit for the original. I honestly cannot come to the agreement of this being a coincidence, especially since many others have agreed with me (and I have a hawkeye for my art, haha.
