needed an excuse to draw my new alien oc guy named Phrixus and welp this happened. Well this is his humanoid self (may change a bit more tbh), I'll draw his actual form later hhh. Challenging myself to do more arms and legs for anatomy purposes.please do not repost anywhere!

Only so many places to do that such as from the same shoulder socket (think Machamp), halfway down the torso to give arms armpits and my least favorite the elbow split.
Still love multilimb characters though.

aah yeah that's true. I drew them the way i did because i took reference from Opal from Steven Universe >u>; But yeah, the halfway down the torso would've bugged me because it didn't seem too anatomically accurate but eeeh to each their own ouo;

My favorite connection has to be either armpit arms or the type where it's just an inch or two below the upper arms but still connected to the pectoral muscle area.
You know what's more awkward than torso arms (I don't mind these, not my favorite but I don't hate them, since I used it for my character Togetherman since he's a Slender so his torso is long)? A torso connected to a torso. That's where the guys waist connects not to his hips but to a pair of shoulders. Those ones are seriously weird.
