Gigantamax
When this feature is used, Pikachu's size and stats increase drastically during a battle. Unlike dynamaxing, Pikachu's appearance also changes when gigantamaxing. Gigantamaxed pokemon also get their very own G-max moves when using this. For Pikachu's case, it's new move is G-Max Volt Crash.
- G-Max Volt Crash - A storm cloud in the sky forms over the opponent, only for it to send down immensely powerful lightning. Not only will it deal damage, but it will also paralyze them.
Feats
- About 61% Win-Loss ratio.
Burst Attack: Burst Attack Volt Shock Fist
- Can Surf via a surfboard
- Simultaneously one-shot a Pinsir, a Venomoth, and... a ’’Golem’’?
Is able to electrocute ground Pokemon; - SOMEHOW.
- Fought multiple Legendary Pokemon
• Red's Pikachu defeated a Volcarona with only one Volt Tackle
• Took down a Latios with itself in a last attempt to win
• Defeated Brandon's Regice
• Ash’s Pikachu was able to defeat Rayquaza with a Thunderbolt
- Red's Pikachu (from Generations) can fight without the direction and instructions of its trainer
- Catastropika deals 210 damage: the most powerful electric moves (it does require a trainer using a Pikanium Z)
- Avoided lasers and factory equipment
• Almost caught Team Rocket's Meowth
- The most popular Nintendo character other than Mario
- Defeated Blue's Charizard thanks to Red with the help of Poliwrath and Venusaur
- Defeated Lugia using "MegaVolt", an attack 10X stronger than "Thunderbolt"
- Defeated a fake Kyogre that was 10X bigger than the island containing the Battle Frontier with the help from ChuChu (Yellow's Pikachu/mate) and Pibu (Gold's Pichu/son) with all of them using Volt Tackle
- Survived major fatal situations from legendaries.
- Captain Pikachu has already proven itself a powerful combatant, both in a real battle against Amethio and in training battles against Roy and Liko, but there's always been something interesting about its movements. Specifically, Captain Pikachu can easily dodge and maneuver in midair, something a Pikachu generally isn't very good at. In fact, when Captain Pikachu is battling Roy's Wattrel and Fuecoco in episode 17, Captain Pikachu actually lands with a wave of its tail, slowing its descent and allowing it to gracefully land feet first. Captain Pikachu isn't just bouncing around the sky erratically, though: he's literally flying, a fact confirmed by the next episode's title, which mentions a "Flying Pikachu."
