Hello everyone, thanks for wasting your life reading this. I've redesigned Shelly and updated her personality slightly, but first let's go over the ref and the pictures above each number.

(1) A polished picture of Shelly complete with shading and her new signature items.

(2) Shelly's shell from the side view, with the mark being slightly visible.

(3) Shelly's shell, but this time as seen from above, and the spark marking is fully visible.

(4) Shelly from the front view. 4, 5, and 6 all have her without her signature items by the way, so that her body is more visible. I hid the arms behind her so they wouldn't hide anything from view. And I was lazy so.... There's also no shading since I wanted it to be more obvious which colors she had.

(5) Shelly from a side view. I put little dots where the arms and pigtails would be, so it would be easier to see the body. She also has a minty teal colored spark mark on her head.

(6) Shelly from the back view, again arms are hidden because laziness.

Defining physical traits: She has a spark mark on the side of her head, which is the same color as her eyes, along with another mark slightly lighter colored on her shell. She also has a large pigtail on each side of her head. Her tail is curled up like a chameleon, she doesn't have any chameleon related abilities however, yet she can grip things with her tail and hang upside down. On each side of her shell is a small hole.

Abilities:
As I stated earlier she is a Dragon Koopa and Boom Boom hybrid. You might be thinking I phoned it in to make her "special", but I'll explain why I made this choice after the bio. With her abilities comes the classic fire breathing, however her fire isn't particularly powerful. Her fire is mintish teal like her shell and eyes, but aside from it's color it's nothing special.

Of course just like most Koopa's, Shelly has the ability to withdraw into her shell. Notice the holes? Her pigtails stick through them. That might seem stupid, and you're right, but get this. When she spins in her shell her pigtails act like a propeller and steadily lift her into the air. YEP SHE CAN FLY. However she can't really control it very well, and it is better suited as an escape plan.

Despite being partially boom boom, she doesn't have many traits to suggest that, aside from her lack of shell spikes. Her chameleon tail can be used for weak whip attacks, or to swing from poles or similar obstacles.

Bio: Shelly Conch McBoom is the youngest of her sibling trio, at the age of ten (Though her age may be different depending on the story). She has two older siblings, Mae Lee, and Edward. (They were formerly known as Rustle and June.) Shelly and her siblings appear to be inherently Dragon Koopa, but this isn't entirely the case. While they are partially Dragon Koopa, they are also half Boom Boom.

Shelly may be the youngest of the trio, but she is the closest to the leader. She usually takes charge of any operations such as fights with the Mario Brothers, or planning activities. She tends to take initiative even when it's not necessary, and sometimes people see her as bossy and self centered because of this. Despite her first impressions, she's actually quite insecure and easily offended, she's just really good at hiding it. She has trouble admitting defeat or insecurities, which keeps her from confiding her issues in anyone, not even her family or best friends.

Shelly isn't a genius in the field of battle, but she can hold her own against certain opponents. Her attacks range from blunt whacks from her pigtails, to brilliantly choreographed and complicated combos. However she tends to overestimate her abilities, and take risks quite often which lead to her defeat. She has a difficult time determining when she's lost, so often she'll keep fighting even when she's already lost. She also has a wristband on either hand, that allow her to summon fireballs. They aren't particularly powerful, but they do have some magical properties.

Shelly and her siblings were all adopted by their father Sheldon, who later got engaged to Bowser's ex wife Clawdia. (Jeez we're getting into college drama territory...) Clawdia, who I won't say much about as I plan her to have her own bio at some point, was immediately accepted by Shelly and Mae Lee, though Edward eventually warmed up to her. Clawdia actually gave Shelly her wristbands, though Shelly doesn't know where she got it. Bowser often invites the family over as an excuse to get with Clawdia, but she comes despite knowing this so she can visit her biological kids.

Shelly appears to be quite social, and will approach people who might be perceived as intimidating by others. She has a lot of spunk, and a bubbly personality, though she can be a bit too much at times. She currently attends Koopa Academy, a Koopa exclusive school in Dark land, taking magic, strategy, athletics, history, and biology classes.

This bio was a wip across the last month or so, so the art is a bit outdated, but whatever.
