Description
Uploaded at two different angles because from front-on it's difficult to see some detailsThis is my first preserved etch a sketch that I have made a vertical drawing on. I wanted to create a masterwork that has never been drawn on the etch a sketch before, so I chose Edvard Munch's "The Scream".
The reason why you see the circle and lines on the left image is because you are seeing the inside of the etch a sketch. All the powder has been removed, and the knobs have been glued so that you cannot draw or erase on this etch a sketch.

Wow this is awesome. But unfortunately, Edvard Munch's "The Scream" has been done on the Etch a Sketch before. I don't know if you're familiar with the work of Christoph Brown, but he actually drew it on an Etch a Sketch back in 2008. [link]
Yours is waaaaaay better, but it seems you'll have to try to find another masterwork that has never been drawn on the Etch a Sketch before.
But this is still awesome! I'm not criticising you in any way.

Oh hey! Shoulda figured Christoph already did it. As a matter of fact, I worked for Christoph last summer! Thanks for letting me know...I'll continue the journey for finding an unetched masterwork!

in didnยดt know you can preserve an etch- a scetch. so you have to empty it of the powder and glue the knobs after finishing the painting?

Wow. How do you remove the powder from an Etch-A-Sketch?

you have to drill a hole in the back to let all the powder out
