If you notice thee hair styles, I was just practicing, since I have debated back and forth whether or not giving Sparkle bangs was a good idea. I have tried it, and it never really worked out for me. But after that little V-Day comic with I thought I try it again. Not sure if I'll keep it, but enjoy it while it lasts ~Mini Comic:

No, they only can see the memory, they cant alter it. It isnt a "Back to the Future" thing, where they can go back in time. It isnt related to that in anyway. It's just like Jayfeather's power in Power of Three-Omen of the Stars by Erin Hunter.
They can explore the memory, and talk to the host while in the memory, but they cant change the memory.

ah no, only the host can do that, caz it's their mind. However, Stara has easier control of her ability and can find the "true" memory if someone tries to hide it and can also find lost memories. Eevly, being young, cant do that, all she can do is see what the host is thinking about. Sometimes she does wander the mind and find lost or hiddent things, but she doesnt really focus caz she just find things that are interesting to her
