Isaac apparently doesn't know about the egg groups XDor much about them.
To those of u who are confused, Oliver is Patch's father, and Oliver's father is Iron, and his mother was just a random Flaffy. The mother didnt care for Oliver, and he went off on his own meeting Patch's mother. Which resulted Patch and his sister. And thus, being Sparkle's cousin, because Shine was Iron's daughter Oliver is Shine's half brother.

Iron had a ton of mates and kids, so that's how Patch is related to Sparkle. It's simple really. Iron had a kid, and that kid had Patch. And that kid is the half brother of Shine, which obviously is Sparkle's mom. It's really not that confusing

I understand the family tree, I just had to look at it for a moment, but I know the bloodline of Patch and Sparkle so I know how they're related. No worries!

Eh, cant blame Isaac for being confused. Egg groups are confusing. Like how a Skitty can breed with a Wailord. I'm honestly surprised neither of them asked about the whole half shiny thing

well i would assume that while shiny Pokemon are rare, half shiny ones are extremely rare. so that would be a reasonable question

I think Half Shinies are non-existence. Pokemon never said anything. So who knows if half shinies actually exist
but this is fanmade, and hybrids, half breeds, fusions, fakemon, even different colored Pokemon exist, so half shines isnt something that is common, but it's not rare. So with both, Sparkle and Isaac being travelers, seeing this isnt something really new. Really hybrids and fusions are the more "rare" ones.

But yeah this canon they exist more commonly than Hybrids and Fusions. But they're not like super common, kinda uncommonly it can happen

thats fine then, at least i have a frame of reference now. also, its funny to me you mention hybrids cause i have a long running RP with a friend and in our canon, hybrids are humans mixed with Pokemon DNA

well, there arent like humans mixed with Pokemon, if anything it's Pokemon mixed with Pokemon, like for example, A Charmander/Mareep hybrid type thing. Patch is kinds like that, he actually has fur than skin (well has both XP)
If anything there are humans turned into Pokemon, so there is that possibility of Pokemon, that were once human, have kids and thus that's like the closest thing I'll get but no like Human/Pokemon Hybrids

Basically he's saying what I told in the Description, which that his father is Iron's son,Oliver, which makes him Iron's grandson. And Shine (Sparkle's mom) was his father's half sister. So makes him related to Sparkle. And that he's from a Ranch near Pallet Town, Kanto. He walked. And years ago, Oliver (Patch's dad) went looking for Iron and found him. And years later, he took Patch to meet Iron and the rest of the family (or some in this case XD)
